Music has a wonderful way of bringing people together, and our recent drum circle at Bayview Seniors Community did exactly that.
Residents gathered for an energetic afternoon of drumming, rhythm, movement, and social connection led by Rhonda Bruce of Balanced Energy Wellness. With drums and percussion instruments in hand, residents were encouraged to participate at their own pace while enjoying the music and the company of those around them.
Rhonda brings a background that includes active aging, fitness, DrumFIT, and dementia care approaches to her work.
